According to an annual wealth report, the mainland has 960,000 millionaires and 60,000 billionaires. The population of millionaires in Tianjin has reached to 16,000.
One in every 1,400 individuals on the Chinese mainland now has personal assets of at least 10 million yuan ($ US 1.5 million), an increase of almost 10 percent from last year.
Of the richest people in China, thirty-five percent earned the wealth from investing in real estate and shares. Others made profits from private business or high-salaries.

Tianjin has 1,180 billionaires this year, an increase of 150 more persons than last year. And the increase of millionaires reaches to the number of 1,500. Both the numbers of billionaires and millionaires in Tianjin rank 11th nationwide according to the report.Â
